GETTING HERE

Taxi and Rideshare

Located only 10-minutes from Townsville Airport, taxi and rideshare are the fastest way to the resort. At the airport, the Taxi Rank is located at the arrivals end of the terminal.

The Ride Share collection point is located within the rental carpark at the arrivals end of the terminal. Please refer here for further information.

Wheelchair accessible taxis can be organised by Townsville Kerbside Concierge – 0408 715 500.

 

Car Parking

The The Ville Resort has over 300 free car parks should you be bringing your own vehicle. Although parking is free on site it is subject to availability as a first in, best dressed scenario and can not be booked in advance.

Magnetic Island is one of the only places in Queensland people from all walks of life can access the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. With warm shallow waters all year-round Magnetic Island is perfect for snorkelling.

Located on the picturesque Geoffrey Bay foreshore Pleasure Divers Magnetic Island has great access to the island’s best snorkelling sites including the Moltke Shipwreck. Pleasure Divers Magnetic Island has been in operation for over 20 years so you’re in great hands with local world class instructors.

Inclusions:

– 1 – 1.5 hrs snorkel time

– Approx 1 hour free time on the island for a swim

– Return ferry transfers to Magnetic Island aboard SeaLink Magnetic Island Ferry, a 20 minute boat ride from Townsville’s mainland.

NOTE: There will be no additional time for swimming on the island with this tour. This is a land-based tour only.

All tours require minimum numbers to proceed. A final confirmation of the tour will be sent two weeks prior to the conference. Should minimum numbers not be reached you will be advised two weeks prior to the conference and a refund will be arranged via your original method of payment.

Full payment for all tours must be received by Friday 16 October 2020. Should your tour not paid by this date (or the date listed on your invoice, whichever comes first) your place in the group will be cancelled. There will be no refund for cancellations after Saturday 17th October 2020.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond our reasonable control to alter or cancel the advertised tours, primarily due to weather conditions advised by the tour operator. Where any information alters from the tour description or a cancellation is necessary we shall provide you with due notice.
